Relativity...

As I lay in bed last night with my usual self-induced insomnia, I thought of something that, I guess, each and every one of us has thought in our lives: We are nothing but atomically tiny specks in this universe. Or even smaller.

Even on Earth, we are just a very small part of a very big system. A system which is, in a way, repetitive.
Over a similar period of time, the same things keep repeating. For example, right now, someone is getting mugged, someone just married someone, someone just won a lottery, someone just died, someone was just born, someone is making out, someone is eating and so on. And we, don't even seem to realize that somehow, we are also part of this endless repeated cycle.
Similarly, in this universe, things keep happening, with us being totally oblivious to it. Somewhere, a nebula just came to existence, somewhere a black hole is sucking in light, somewhere a planet wayys just born, somewhere a star just died....
That made me think one thing and one only: I'm just a man in a can.
And yet we humans think so great of ourselves.
Which is, ofcourse, really stupid.
With a small post for November,
